I am a senior research scientist at InterDigital, Inc. in Computer Science, specialized in Computer Graphics.
I have been a Research Scientist in Computer Science for almost 15 years. My research topics focus on Computer Graphics, with a higher interest
in Geometry Processing and Facial Modeling, Rigging, Animation and Perception. I have developed through these 15 years an enthusiasm and an ability to lead people
and team through industrial research projects. So far, I have supervised 6 PhD / 15 Master students and led 5 R&D projects between 5 to 15 people.
These 15 years of research have also highly pushed my appeal for scientific communication and popularization to another level.
All the R&D projects I have been leading for the last 8 years have been related to Digital Human for post-production needs and standardization.
We have developed professional tools for modelers and riggers enabling to speed-up and ease the creation of facial
rigs (Facet 2015-2019), of VR avatars (Replicant 2018) and of secondary characters (Digital Double 2019-2021). Facet has been awarded on
several important productions (Lion King, Dumbo, Justice League, The Shape of Water, Aquaman, Nutcracker etc.) and several series and
commercials. More recently, I have started working within standards groups (MPEG, MSF, ITU) around the avatar topic.
